    Progress to goal
    Is there a way to show progress to goal in a stacked bar, where the first section of the bar is actual and the bar ends as the goal total, and switched the first segment to goal when actual exceeds goal?

    Now that there's a view of the 311 calls related to bats, it's possible to make a map of bat complaints in Austin.
    To make a map, click the "Visualize" button.

    This brings up a new pane for visualizations, which includes charts and maps.
    {bats12.png}{Update_bats12.jpg}
    To create a map, click the "Map" section of the pane.
    The first step here is to select which type of map or "plot style" to create. A point map shows the individual points where incidents occur. A heat map shows the intensity of of incidence by colors. This map will use the "heat map" plot style.
    Socrata also needs to know what data to use for mapping. For this dataset, Latitude, Longitude is the only column that will work.
    {bats13.png}{Update_bats13.jpg}
    At the bottom of the pane, there's a button that says "Apply." It may take a bit of scrolling to find the button.
    After the "Apply" button is clicked, Socrata will generate a map. Closing out the data pane and the Visualize pane will show a larger map.

    The scale on the left side of the map can be used to zoom in or out on the map.
    Here is a map of 311 calls related to bats from January 2014 to May 2014 in Central Austin.
